Communist Clinic provides medical aid to Al-Sadr (Thawra) City residents in Baghdad

The mobile Communist Clinic, of the Iraqi Communist Party, visited the area of Jawadir in Al-Sadr (Thawra) City in Baghdad on Monday 5 May 2008. The solidarity initiative was aimed at providing medical aid to the residents of this district who are living under difficult living and security conditions.


 
The Clinic set up a tent and received 246 citizens, mostly women and children. The patients were given medical tests and free medications, with some patients being referred to hospital.

  


The visit, that lasted about two and a half hours, was warmly received and applauded by the people. Similar visits are planned in the coming period.
